it's another blog, hooray!
today i spent the majority of the day with my friend jack.
the main reason was so that he could buy me 1000 sheets of origami paper so i could fold him 1000 cranes. i haven't even finished my crane project though!
i'm still trying to fill this huge glass vase full of cranes, it's taking me ages.i have no idea why i agreed to fold 1000 for jack, but it's pretty nice having like a "project" to do over the holidays. besides reading i need something else to kill time. :)
we went to two different stores before we bought some little squares of origami paper at the artbox. i secretly wanted to buy the paper from 'ほんや’ but it was rather expensive, it was about $15 for like 16 sheets of this gorgeous paper but of course we needed 1000 so there was no way we'd get that.
we ended up buying this little korean paper specifically for folding cranes. the paper's a nice pastel colour so it'll be pretty but the paper's quite smaller than what i'm used to so it'll be a bit more difficult.after buying the paper i finally got to satisfy my craving for gyudon from watching 'Homeless Student' on friday haha. it's sooo good when you get the food you want.
after eating we decided to go have some tea, on our way we ran into ming and his friend
we had it at a place, i'd never been before but they had swings instead of chairs that hung to the ceiling and they were covered in flowers. that made pouring tea really interesting haha.i'll probably go back there to chill sometime soon :D
they had these really interesting and cute tea cups too!so round and unusual. hahaha
after some tea, magic tricks and photo-dodging (ming's friend sure liked to take photos) i left to go hang out with mel, kim, flavia, carmen, duy and andy.
we had fish and chips with some tiramisu at their mum's restaurant, we were planning to kick back at her apartment but her uncle had some friends over...gay. :(
the day ended quietly with good ol' random conversation, hugs and training home.
so it was a pretty damn good day!
but duy bit me twice at the end of the day.
fcking duy.
that's all, gonna go fold some cranes now.

haha, I like Easy Cafe (I think thats what it's called...?) it's a funny place to hang out... But their food looks revolting D:

two. I love folding paper cranes! As in LOVE LOVE LOVE lol. too much? But seriously, I fold any paper I found to be a paper crane, and the smaller the better! There's a challenge in doing so, lololol.
