it's like 11:30pm and i've got work tomorrow and i wanna get in some good reading before bed, so i'm sorta speed typing please forgive my mistakes.
well let's see the past two days i went to the 13th japanese film festival!
HOORAY!
the first film i saw was called 'Homeless Student/ホームレス中学生' starring Koike Teppei.
He was REALLY cute, especially 'cos he was playing a 14 year old boy.
Which is also the reason why i felt so guilty when i saw him almost naked in the film.
he was PLAYING a fourteen year old but he's actually 23. So is it wrong for me to check him out? OHGOD. i'm so confused. ==;
but pedophilia aside...it was a good film. nicely filmed, they had a good eye for framing and the humour was the quiet awkward kind which incredibly made the whole homless situation less pitiful and more bearable to watch. i reckon if it was filmed in a completely different way, i would have cried my eyes out.
oh yes and the film was considered a christmas present from jason.

now the second film i saw today was called 'K-20 the Legend of the Mask', which starred TAKESHI KANESHIRO I watched this film with jason again and my two japanese students, so we called it an excursion. YAY!
i have to say it was a very good movie, i enjoyed it thorougly because it had two very attractive japanese actors as well as an interesting plot. I have to admit there was a moment when i just stared at takeshi kaneshiro's face and remembered he could speak canto, mando AND japanese, which just makes him even more attractive! *kyaaaaa*
movies was followed by....you guessed it. HOTPOT!
for some reason having hotpot has become really popular and i don't know why.
why wasn't it popular when it was actually cold weather?
not that i'm complaining or anything haha....foooodd is love.
omg, my neighbours are really loud. just putting it out there.....
they enjoy having really loud conversations/arguments on their front porch.
which i can hear VERY VERY CLEARLY.
it's not really a problem if they do that, the problem is that they tend to do it at ungodly hours of the night for example it's almost 12am now...but they'll continue for another solid 2 - 3 hours.

OMFG. MY PARENTS JUST CAME HOME & GAVE ME CHOCOLATE. *BOOOYAH*
they just came home from a wedding and they gave them these little chocolate boxes as like 'souvenirs' but being aware of my LOVE for dark chocolate they were kind enough to give it to me. hooray, i will slowly become fatter and fatter.
you know what's cute though? my mum just attended her flower girl's wedding!
my mum says it's making her feel really old because her page(?) boy and flower girl are now both married as wel. isn't that strange? time sure flies, huh?
anyway gonna stop now, so i can get some reading in before i sleep.
